Business Types represent different areas of business/activity for companies/organizations. A company/organization can have one or many business types.
Business type is one of the search criteria's used in SpotMi. It's used to make it easier finding the company/organization you're looking for.
It's possible to select 472 unique business types in SpotMi. The different business types are grouped in 18 different business sector. A business type can belong to one or more business sectors. The business sectors are:

The different combinations of business sector - business type can be found in the drop-down list in the 'SEARCH'.
The languages displayed for a specific company/organization are reflecting the current language skills in the company/organization.
By displaying these current language skills, the company/organization is promoting their ability to do business and provide service in other languages than the official language of the country. Customers with a specific language need hence know what companies/organizations to approach.
There's also a language called 'Easy Swedish'. This is reflecting a company value, rather than a language skill. Any customer who is impacted or who finds this value important, can thereby use this search criteria when looking for or deciding what company/organization to do business with.
Note! This isn't what language skills a company wish to have, but the one they currently have.
Currently it's possible to select 69 different languages in SpotMi. These represent the official EU languages, the minority languages of Sweden and the languages most commonly used in Sweden. Additionally there's a language called 'Easy Swedish', which is related to the company value rather than the language skill in the company.

All persons are welcomed and appreciated customers regardless of their cultural background or if they speak Swedish with or wihtout an accent. They can expect equal treatment.

The 'LGBTQ'-values displayed for a specific company/organization are reflecting the knowledge/skill level of their staff, the company values and their dedication to equal treatment.
By displaying these 'LBGTQ'-values, the company/organization is promoting their ability and committment to do business and provide service to persons in the LGBTQ community. Any customer who is impacted or who find these values important, can thereby use these search criteria's when looking for or deciding what company/organization to do business with.

The company and its staff are LGBTQ certified. They've completed an educational program and are meeting certain basic criteria's.
LGBTQ persons is treated equally and with respect in the same way as everyone else.
All persons are welcomed and appreciated customers regardless of their sexual orientation. They can expect equal treatment. This also include acceptance of public displays of affection.

The company supports PRIDE and is clearly displaying this during local PRIDE festivals.

The 'Disability'-values displayed for a specific company/organization are reflecting the current readiness of their products, services and premises, the knowledge/skill level of their staff, the company values and their dedication to equal treatment.
By displaying these 'Disability'-values, the company/organization is promoting their readiness, ability and commitment to do business and provide service to persons with disability. Any customer who is impacted or who find these values important, can thereby use these search criteria's when looking for or deciding what company/organization to do business with.
Currently there’re 34 different values to select from in the category ‘Disability’. They can be divided into five different groups:
- The values displaying the knowledge/skill level within the company/organization of different disabilities.
- The values addressing different needs of accessibility.
- The values addressing different food restrictions.
- The values showing the company values and their dedication to equal treatment.
- The values showing how the company/organization in other ways is supporting different areas of disability.

Accessible text is important to people with reading disabilities, color blindness or limited comprehension of the language.
Example: Straight word order. Short sentences. Easy read font. Airy layout. Clear contrast. Colors supporting color blindness.
[Digital] material can digitally be read aloud.
Premises allowing people with an intellectual disability to find their way without needing assistance. Also helpful for persons with orientation difficulties or who speak another language.
Example: Clear signs (e.g. pictures). Graphics (e.g. adequate contrasts). Placement.
The premises are accessible to persons with e.g. an injured foot or who has crutches, cane or walker.
Example: Max 2-3 steps. Short distances to walk inside and from public transport. Bathroom on the same floor.
Note! It’s enough if one floor/area is easy accessible (not all of the premises).
The premises are accessible to persons in a wheelchair without needing assistance.
Example: No thresholds/barriers. Ramp/elevator between different floors. Disability bathroom. Enough space to maneuver a wheelchair.
Note! Standard wheelchair measurments are 1,2x0,8 m.
The premises are accessible to persons in a mobility scooter.
Example: Low thresholds. No barriers. Ramp/elevator between different floors. Disability bathroom. Enough space to maneuver a mobility scooter.

A person with speech deficiency is treated equally and with respect in the same way as everyone else.
Example: The staff will not interrupt, make fun, frown or show impatience when interacting with this person.

A person with hearing deficiency is treated equally and with respect in the same way as everyone else.

Persons and their guide dogs are welcomed and appreciated customers/guests.
Note! The guide dog is still the responsibility of its owner. It is its owner who provides instructions and directions to the guide dog.

Persons and their attendants are welcomed and appreciated customers/guests. The need of an attendant is understood. If applicable, the attendant gets an opportunity to come along for free/at a discount.

The staff has basic knowledge of what epilepsy is.
If a person gets a epileptic seizure, then the staff can be expected to understand what's happening, help the person not come to harm while calling for an ambulance.
The staff has basic knowledge of what OCD is. A person with OCD is treated equally and with respect in the same way as everyone else.
OCD stands for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
The staff has basic knowledge of what Parkinson is.
A person with Parkinson is treated equally and with respect in the same way as everyone else.

The staff has knowledge of what autism, Asperger and ADHD are and know how to best interact with a person having autism, Asperger or ADHD.

A visually impaired person can easily and safely navigate the premises using a cane or guide dog. The staff have the experience and ability to assist and guide the person.
Information can be digitally read aloud. Or the staff will do so on request.
The premises don't have loud noise. This could be helpful e.g. for persons with a hearing deficiency, tendency for migrain, autism.
Example: The sound level is below 65dBA. Short peaks of max 75 dBA are allowed.
Premises allowing people with allergy or other hypersensitivity to be there without putting them in harm or danger.
Example: Flowers/plants free of smell, pollen. No strong scents. No contact with furry animals (incl clothes of the staff). Regular cleaning. Controlled ventilation.
Premises allowing people with high allergy to nuts to be there without putting them in harm or danger.
Example: No packaging of nuts are opened in the premises.

There're products which are almost gluten free (<20 ppm). These products are properly marked.

There're vegetarian alternatives. These products are properly marked.
A vegetarian doesn't eat meat, fish and shell fish.

At least one of the available staff is able to communicate using sign language (the sign language used in the country of orgin).

The 'Service to Parents'-values displayed for a specific company/organization are reflecting the current readiness of their premises and their willingness to welcome customers or visitors who're attending the premises with children.
By displaying these 'Service to parents'-values, the company/organization is promoting their readiness, ability and commitment to do business and provide service to persons attending with children. Any customer who is impacted or who find these values important, can thereby use these search criteria's when looking for or deciding what company/organization to do business with.
Currently there’re 11 different values to select from in the category ‘Service to Parents’. They can be divided into three different groups:
- The values addressing different needs of accessibility.
- The values showing how the company/organization has been taking steps to specifically accommodate children by organizing or supporting the needs of children and their parents.
- The values showing how company/organization is welcoming families and children of different age groups.
